Composite and resign fillings are known both for their natural and healthy-looking appearance as well as having the benefits of near perfect color match for your teeth. Composite fillings also bond better to your teeth, helping to restore the natural strength of your tooth.

We’ve never used silver or mercury fillings at our dental practice, although they are commonly used. Research has shown aging silver fillings can darken the teeth and lead to tooth fractures. Further, mercury is a volatile substance, and prolonged or substantial exposure has been identified to be a health hazard.

Do you have old silver fillings? It’s a good idea to get all of your silver or mercury fillings in your arch replaced. You’ll immediate notice the difference between your silver filling and the new healthy, white bonded replacements we provide!

Do you need to replace missing teeth but don’t want to wear removable partials or dentures? No problem – you’re looking for dental  implants. The implants are carefully placed where your original teeth used to be, quickly, comfortably, and most importantly, safely.

After a short healing period, a beautiful new replacement tooth is then attached to the implant. The replacement tooth looks, feels, and works just like your natural teeth!

Mercury is a highly toxic substance, but at one time, it was regularly used in dentistry. Today, there are many alternatives to mercury fillings.

And while some dentists still feel comfortable placing mercury in their patient’s mouths, we don’t. At SE Dental, we hold onto our values, and one of those values is to not use antiqueated dental techniques and fillers.

Research has shown the potential side effects of mercury are dangerous. We eliminate those risks by replacing mercury fillers with beautiful new white bonded restorations.

The latest technology has enabled us to make 100% porcelain crowns for a more natural look and feel. For years, dentists had offered crowns made of both metal and porcelain, but the problem was that  over 25% of women have an allergy to nickel and other common metals.

Thankfully today, we can say goodbye to those old metal crowns. All porcelain crowns are strong, long-lasting and do an amazing job of replicating your natural teeth. In fact, the color is so natural and fitting, even friends and family won’t be able to tell you had work done! Further, porcelain crowns eliminate the dark ring at the margin of the typical metal crowns we’re all used to seeing.

Our porcelain veneers close spaces and gaps between teeth, straighten and lengthen your teeth, and help making teeth whitening easier and last longer. Our patients have for years preferred porcelain veneers.

Porcelain veneers are also much more durable than regular composite veneers. Deep tetracycline stains can be removed from a smile using our thin veneer shells. In some cases, because the veneer is essentially a mask that is bonded to your natural teeth, veneers can sometimes allow patients to bypass orthodontic treatment.

Finally, porcelain veneers resist stains much better than cheaper, more common resign veneers. In as short as two visits, you can have a smile that beams with a new confidence and brilliance that you haven’t seen in years!

An onlay is a dentist-fabricated replacement of one or more cusps of your tooth. Sometimes, your teeth aren’t damaged enough to require dental crowns, but you also need something more than just a tooth filling. That’s where onlays come in handy!

Our porcelain onlays are beautiful, they feel as natural as your own tooth and can last between 15-20 years or more!

Our at-home bleaching kit and products provides you with dazzling results, all while you’re asleep. You can also whiten your teeth during the day – simply apply our solutions for 1-2 hours. Bleaching is fast, easy, convenient, affordable and long-lasting.
